What do you locals recommend for a 7-10 Honeymoon?

I read where someone recommended Hotel Villa Caletas?

Playa Conchal?

 

Big Pete,

Playa Conchal is very nice. If you go, bring your golf clubs. They have two great courses up there (Pinilla and Conchal). Beautiful beaches and great weather.

Villa Coletas is further South than Conchal. Beatiful setup and THE MOST AMAZING sunset from their amphitheater. Food is not great there, but the brunch is excellent. Wherever you go in CR...enjoy!

I'm glad to see people say Conchal. Myself and Scott stayed at Melia Conchal, which is the name of the resort. It was awazing - A huge open pool, a bar on the pools edge, a canopy tour over the pool, massages, sports bar and dance club, 4 wheeler tour to watch the sunset, jet-skis and more. I highly recommend Melia Conchal for you both.

Manuel Antonio-Mariposa.But my favorite place which I also think is very romantic is Tabacon Resort near Arenal.Hot springs.It is amazing.Actually for me the perfect vacation would be half at Tabacon and half in Manuel Antonio.

but the others are very nice as well

arenal is also great but the hotel rooms are not that nice
