Va. Tech Locks Down Campus as Police Officer Shot

this is scary, isnt this now the 3rd time they ahd a situation since the shootings? really makes you wonder why they are drawing all this horror to their campus.....i mean it would really make ya think twice if u wanted to attend there

yeah horrible publicity for sure....

Everything is going to get national attention now....

I mean my alum had some students murdered over the summer and didn't make national news even though he was the nephew of some senator...

Tech has a PR nightmare.... if you went to the campus you would feel completely safe and would have no problem leaving your daugter there.....

Cujo daughter goes there if I remember correctly? Do this make you more worried about having her there?

Lockdown is over at V Tech. Nothing official yet but I'm hearing the 2nd victim is likely the suspect...

2nd victim was the suspect. Also, cops are now saying the suspect wasn't pulled over by the cop. The guy just walked up to an officer doing a traffic stop on someone else and killed him.

Cop shot, reportedly killed. Another shot on campus. Suspect is white before everyone starts getting all racist and such.

I bet if we could skim back over his Family Tree we hit black before at least the year 1850

My daughter actually goes there and they were under lockdown until 5pm. Cop was shot after he pulled someone else over....

I believe the 07 shootings could have happened anywhere.

After they happened though, it seems like a lot of crazies could see a way to make a name for themselves. Add that to the additional exposure they're gonna get, and it's a nightmare for the school.

Do people think twice about attending school @ Philly, New Orleans, Memphis, Los Angeles, NYC, Houston, etc?

Or you could go to UVA, and worry about violent lacrosse players.

This week's incident had nothing to do with Va Tech, but some people are making a connection. Because some people are:

1) Stupid, or
2) Journalists who want to create ratings & web-clicks
