Don't know if you saw any of the game, but this will probably be the craziest and closest 1 point game that you will ever cover. First, the UTEP kid banked in the 3 pointer with .08 seconds left to send the game to OT. Then in OT the refs almost took the win away from you, as with 3 seconds left in OT, UTEP had a one point lead and there was a loose ball the Santa Clara kid runs down the ball into the corner and called a time-out with 3 seconds left in OT, the ref called the time-out, but then it was learned that Santa Clara didn't have any time-outs remaining. The UTEP players ran down to the other end of the floor celebrating as that should have been a technical foul, but the lead official then decided to change his call and said he made a mistake and awarded a jump ball instead of sayin there was a Time Out called(which the posession arrow gave the ball to Santa Clara.) Santa Clara inbounded with 3 seconds down by one, and the big Center bullied down the lane and ran over a UTEP player and scored. The official called a charge and waived off the basket, and the UTEP players once again jumped up and down and started celebrating again, and then the same backside Lead Official ran up to the other Official and they talked and they changed the call to a blocking foul and counted the bucket. So Santa Clara went up by 1 with .7 seconds left and got one free throw. The kid missed, and anybody with UTEP plus 2 covered instead of pushed.
But I have never seen anything like that, I seriously think the lead official had Santa Clara on the moneyline or something. I have never seen an Official change a call twice in the 3 seconds of a game. The UTEP Coach just about attacked the official after the game, then he ripped his players off the court immediately instead of letting them accept the 2nd place trophies(this was a tourney game even though it was at Santa Clara with West Coast officials.) I guess he thought it was the 1972 Olympics like when the USA refused to accept their Silver medals after the Russia game.:nohead: Anyways, congrats on the win!! I loved UTEP +2 tonight also, but since UTEP is my favorite team I like to stay away from betting them. For some reason your favorite teams sometimes look good when there really not.
