Utah and UCLA, thoughts?

I took a quick glance at the college spreads, and boy did Utah and UCLA loom large. Utah only giving 24 to Utah St? I know it's an annual, instate rivalry, but c'mon. Utah St got scrubbed by Oregon, and usually gets routed by most WAC teams every year. Anyone got any reasons why Utah doesn't win by at least 30 here in their BCS bid?

Then, UCLA almost beat BYU in their bowl last yr, and with Neuheisel and Chow there now, they've been pretty decent despite the lack of talent. I guess the "D" is suspect for UCLA, but it took a dumb call for WAS to lose to BYU last wk.

Would love to hear insights on both gms. Thanks.

Wormy, I'm sure you watched the UCLA / Tenn game last week, and based on that outing alone I wouldn't say their D isn't suspect. They looked VERY good to me against what I would opine to be a better team then BYU. JMO.... GL

Utah lost a starting DL to a broken leg last week and he's being replaced by a DE moving inside and a true frosh. DT is Utah's thinnest spot.

Thanks guys. Maybe I'll play small on UCLA. I don't have faith in BYU, and have lots of faith in Norm Chow.
