Been lurking for a while and figured this was the season to jump in. I've been playing around with some numbers in the off season and I'm getting stumped on how to compensate for Shutouts when using Yards per Point.
For basic approach I've been taking (TotalYards - PenaltyYards) / Points
This is obv a problem with a shut out. Thought about just using TotalYards = 1 pt but this seems like it would greatly skew the other data
Thoughts?
