Is this helpful to where America is today?

“Racism, we are not cured of it," Obama says in a newly released podcast with the comedian Marc Maron.

"And it's not just a matter of it not being polite to say n----r in public," the nation's first African-American president adds. "That's not the measure of whether racism still exists or not. It's not just a matter of overt discrimination.

=====

I'm not so sure he needed to do that, and his point isn't very clear either.

Is this guy cracking?

Tough comparison - akin to asking me - who would I rather have intercourse with - a dude or a goat

Indeed.

Left wing 'progressivism' is the proverbial dog who won't stop shitting on your lawn.

Eventually something has to give...

From The Associated Press:

"The president said while attitudes about race have improved significantly since he was born to a white mother and black father, the legacy of slavery 'casts a long shadow and that's still part of our DNA that's passed on.'

"Obama also expressed frustration that 'the grip of the NRA on Congress is extremely strong' and prevented gun control from advancing in Congress after 20 children and six educators were massacred in a Connecticut elementary school in 2012.

"'I will tell you, right after Sandy Hook, Newtown, when 20 6-year-olds are gunned down, and Congress literally does nothing -- yes, that's the closest I came to feeling disgusted,' he said. "I was pretty disgusted.'"

Let me clue you in Mr. President, I know you will find this hard to believe but my grandparents never owned slaves, my parents never owned slaves and I never owned slaves. That time frame encompasses over a century of no slaves.

I guess my families DNA got altered somewhere along the line.

As for you being disgusted with Congress, where was your leadership? What did you do? Not one thing. You need to stop the blame game and look in the mirror.

“I can no more disown [Rev. Wright] than I can disown the black community. I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother – a woman who helped raise me, a woman who sacrificed again and again for me, a woman who loves me as much as she loves anything in this world, but a woman who once confessed her fear of black men who passed by her on the street, and who on more than one occasion has uttered racial or ethnic stereotypes that made me cringe.”

That speech, once and for all, should have disqualified him from any position of leadership the rest of this life.

But no...contemptible vtards voted for him anyway (twice!)

Plenty of stupidity to go around. But most Americans don't read the insipid slogans both you and the Right post here daily.

They do get to hear Obama though, and unfortunately he's a self-neutering, flatulent fool.

Sloganeering. That's how you debate. If Gore wins the election the planes still hit the WTC.

And there are a multitude of reasons for the financial crisis. Read "The Housing Boom and Bust" by Thomas Sowell. Or this article from 'The Economist':

And what about the 1999 repeal of the Glass-Steagall act?

Much like Obama you bring nothing to the plate.

Redundancy is your name, repetition is your game.

I'd rather use common sense. Like not blaming Clinton that a bunch of islamic radicals bent on America's destruction were trained in a Florida flight school while he was president. Because if I did so it would be ludicrous.
