Don't you lost more $$$ for buying the 1/2 run? especially if you lose? in my opinion, not worth buying the half........and just let it ride.

How many times has the 0.5 helped? I'm sure it has.....but it's WAYYYYYYYYY too much JUICE!

I thought about that. If i have time, I'll go back and see what would happen if I didn't buy the .5 run. I do know I've won quite a few games by getting that half run. I also thought about going down .5 run and get better odds and will do a study on that too. But I was on the plus side in MLB this year and will stick to this formula until it starts going south. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :o)

I'll use the playoffs as an example. If I didn't buy the .5 run and based everything on 1.1 odds, I would've been -3.6 units. By buying that .5 run and an average odds of -130, I'm -3.55 units. So I saved .5 units. lol

But I know i have to hit at least 57% or so and increase the bet when I am on a hot streak, and also quit for the day when I'm ahead. That's really the key to winning and staying ahead of the game.

10/11/12

The Giants/Reds game looks like one of those 2-1, 3-2 games and that's what I'm riding on:

San Francisco Giants/Cincinnati Reds 1st 5 Innings Under 4 (-160)*
(M Cain - R must Start Reds M Latos - R must Start)

San Francisco Giants/Cincinnati Reds* Under 7 (-120)
(M Cain - R must Start Reds M Latos - R must Start)

10/11/12 Early Results: 0-2 (-2.8 units)
San Francisco Giants/Cincinnati Reds 1st 5 Innings Under 4 (-160)* - l
San Francisco Giants/Cincinnati Reds* Under 7 (-120) - l

YTD Playoffs: 3-7 (-6.35 units)

The 5th inning error changed the flow of the game but that's how it goes sometimes. I have a long way to come back so one game at a time:

St. Louis Cardinals/Washington Nationals 1st 5 Innings Over 3½ -150*

(K Lohse - R must Start R Detwiler - L must Start)

Here's an example of one of those cases where it really hurts to buy that 1/2 run.

Yeah, it happened in both games. Everything is going reversed. Lucky there is live betting, I salvaged some of it back with the under in the Wash game.

I think I've been going about this the wrong way. From memory, I think if I took +odds on every game I wagered on, I wouldn't lose as much and should be up more. I am saving on heavy juice and playing dogs every night. Let's see if this formula works:

Louis Cardinals/San Francisco Giants 1st 5 Innings Under 3 (+112)
(C Carpenter - R must Start R Vogelsong - R must Start)

BOL to all!

10/15/12 - 0-1 (-1 unit)
Louis Cardinals/San Francisco Giants 1st 5 Innings Under 3 (+112) - l

YTD Playoffs: 4-9 (-7.85 units)

I'm down to +4.21 units for the entire season. Tonight, I either win or shut down and get out positive for the season. I like this play better than yesterday so I'm going 3 units:

New York Yankees/Detroit Tigers 1st 5 Innings Under 3½ (-125) - 3 units
(P Hughes - R must Start J Verlander - R must Start)

BOL to all!

Damn, I like OVER. Hughes can get tagged up.......and I expect Yankees to get 1-2 runs. DANGEROUS play! Good luck.

I'm waiting for college basketball!

Man oh man! I can't wait for CBB to get here already. Waiting for those totals. Any specific teams you got your eye on this year?
When does the first early season tourney start? I know it's coming up here soon...
By the way, great call tonight on the F5 UNDER! Game UNDER was easy $$$ too. Verlander is an absolute machine. No active pitcher in the game can compare to his at this time.
