7I realize PSU had some quality wins but there
are a few good reasons why I like the Trojans more.
I also believe my reasoning is very compelling.

First off is the QB duel. Sam Darnold has come on
in his freshman season and has impressively
stepped into some pretty big shoes to fill. He also
adds something new that USC has not seen in a
Starting QB ever. He runs well and is very hard
to catch. To the Trojans a quality dual threat QB
running their offense makes it extremely hard to
stop. His deadly accuracy virtually assures that
most of the time they will score with any kind of
reasonable field position.

On the other hand, PSU's offense depends on the
big play. Feast or famine there and up against
Adoree Jackson, good luck. They'll need it,

Losing so many quality linebackers will help open
up an already formidable rushing attack. This almost
guarantees that USC will be bringing a balanced attack
into the game.

Since the end of September it can be argued that USC
is the hottest team in the country. They have been
unstoppable. The even took out the Dawgs in their own
house when they were undefeated. They have a huge
embarrassment of talent at every position on the field.

I think at some point they'll leave Penn. St. in the dust.
7 points is hardly enough to call out the winning margin
here. It probably won't be a blowout but they should win
and cover easi
So far I've called all the Pac bowl games on the dot.
I even got the Utah game right with a win but no cover.
probably the easiest call was Alabama in beating and
covering the Washington game. To me the Rose Bowl
Seems almost as easy as 'Bama over the Dawgs.

Great write-up Conan....as usual. Happy New year to you and yours and good luck.

Damn, I miss Oregon football like it was a couple years-ago. They did stir the pot and liven-up the Pac-12. They should be able to find another Marcus Mariota somewhere. The colors of their uniform(s) and all those beautiful women on the Oregon campus should be enough to close the deal.

His profile is like the odometer on a used car. He actually joined in 2004 but had Wilheim roll it back to 1998

Not true. I was here back when Ken Weisner (the shrink) and his buddy Doug had an Internet podcast with NFL
predictions. I was a moderator here in 2000 and got to know most of the Costa Rican books. Some of their
people are still around, Judge Wapner for one. That was back in the late 90s.

Also, this is my first thread this bowl season. The other plays I made were in threads
started by others. Don't ask. I can never remember who started it or what the title was.

Take my word. USC is money.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Darnold, although a pocket a QB creates to keep the play alive. He reminds of a poorman''s Russell Wilson.

Dude is Ana absolute gamer. And he's never rattled
