Va Tech must beat Miami to get in. I belive Va Tech will win vs miami. But they aint beating Florida State in Jacksonville. I already have my tickets to the ACC title game.
FSU needs to beat Virginia away, Clemson away and Florida away. Their other games are gimmes for a team of their caliber. The Florida game is the real stickler. If they can win all 3 of those, they get to Jacksonville undefeated. It isnt crazy to think they can do it. They will be favored by at least 8-9 at Virginia and Clemson. Florida is a REAL tough one. But they may prevail.
Va Tech in the ACC title game is a toughie, but I know what would happen. FSU wins games like this routinely. Miami ( usually) or Florida ( happened once in the 90's) can sabotage our best teams, but not out of state lackeys like Va Tech. It aint going to happen for them.
Then its on to the rose bowl vs USC?

no offense taken Kermit, we are having a good time here. FSU is not the juggernaut USC is so their road to the Rose Bowl is uncertain. but do heed my warning. IF FSU gets that far, look out. we aint scared of no one.

Fla St should beat Virginia next week. next real game is at Clemson. oh boy. not good. clemson has lost 2 VERY tough close home games ( BC and Miami). this shows they are obviosly a good team but more so that they are desperate to break thru and win a big gamefor the home folks instead of falling slightly short. With a win Bobby might be putting the final nail in his sons coffin at Clemson.
Clemson is going to go all out. Even more so than vs Miami and BC. They need to beat FSU badly. Very tough spot for FSU to have to go into. Its not like at Clemson is an easy place to play anyway. This is a very tough game.
As for Virginia Tech, I realize they are a very good team, but I am not worried at all about them. I am much more worried about at Clemson. I realize I SHOULD be more worried than I am about Va tech in Jacksonville, but I am not.

Mr Smith, I agree with you about Virginia, and they should not pose much of a problem for FSU. But I'll be on Clemson heavy with the points, and I'll have some ML as well. Remember going there as 17 point favs two years ago? That line was a joke, but I still didn't expect them to lose the game outright by 3 touchdowns.
well looks like we finally have some FSU common ground Illini. I am heavy on a future " game of the year" line FSU -6.5 at Virginia. I should be in good shape when the real line comes out and I intend to let it ride.
As for the Clemson game, I cant blame ya for taking the points, whatever they are. That game will be a very tough spot for FSU. There are no locks, FSU might play very well like at BC and win and cover. But Clemson is going to go all out, they are desperate to beat somebody good after their tough beats vs Miami and Boston College. Could be an outright upset. I wouldnt bet 14 cents on FSU at Clemson. So if a homer like me doesnt like it, there ya go. Fire away.
