Call me crazy, but I like the prop at Pinnacle for them to go undeated in the regular season. Every one of their tough games are at home. If they get by Cal. +160 is a fat number for the rest of the season. Thoughts? VT

they almost lost 2 of the 3 they've played so far, it's only a matter of time before they fall

Cal is the real deal and beat them in Berkeley last year 35-34. If Cal comes in undefeated, a USC win is not a given. Don't get me wrong, I think the Trojans are the best team in the nation, but if Cal is playing sharp, an upset is possible and there goes the undefeated season. Sorry, but +160 is not good value. Better value was USC to win the National Championship prior to the regular season at +500.

Stanford is a tough place to play? What are you kidding? That has to be one of the weakest home fields around. The place never gets loud unless it is the Big Game. When SC plays there nearly half the stands are filled with SC fans doing the stupid ass Fight On crap. When Notre Dame is around there might be more Irish fans than Cardinal fans. In the Pac 10 I don't think there is an easier place to play a road game.

This team is clearly nowhere near as good as last year's team on defense and that makes them vulnerable to a loss. They have played a fairly easy schedule so far so hard to say if they can get through without a loss. I personally think Cal can stand toe-to-toe with them and don't respect the Coliseum as much of a home advantage, but this team certainly has the talent to run the table. Watch out though, that road trip to Oregon St and the home game with Notre Dame also could be vulnerable spots. But they catch a lot of breaks in the scheduling this year.

VT, I hear you on that. I rarely bet futures, now I see why. I bet the Trojans U 11 -135 before the game was even over thinking I had a sure lock they they were going to lose the game and before the line moved (for a larger amount then any other bet I make). Boy, I thought I was getting away real smart and pulling the wool over the BM's eyes. HAHAHA. Now, I'm starting to wonder if that's going to hold up, can only wait and see, the joke will be on me.

It is tough to figure out but you might be better off betting them on the ML everyweek and rolling over the winnings. It is tough to figure out some of these lines this far in advance.

Essentially what you're doing is betting +160 USC vs Notre Dame & @UCLA (stretch)

Just remember... Pinnacle are gamblers... They probably want as much action as they can get @ that #.
