College Football should be exciting in December. Its Not !! Its boring. Games don't mean anything. Coll Football is over as far as I'm concerned once thanksgiving weekend is over.Once December rolls around I'm still into the NFL and already a coll Hoops junkie.

USC defense is soft. I'm not terribly impressed with Texas either. Beating up on a Texas Tech team that had beaten up on a lot of weak sisters doesnt impress me.

Starnet books had USC -10 for two weeks prior to last Saturday. After the TX beat down last Saturday, line moved to -6.

USC currently -5.5 at the Starnet books.

USC -3 to +2 ? i think...

Ya pretty close. USC could have won that game by 70 if they wanted to. So lines mean nothing, and line moves meannothing.

I doubt Texas even gets a shot to play USC. If They both win out, and Va Tech wins out, I think the nod goes to Va Tech.

People are losing sight that USC is playing at maybe 55-60% right now. They aren'
t trying, they don't care, and they are banged up a lot, especailly on the defenseive side. The guys that should be starting and playing the quality minutes are not even playing, they are getting healthy for the bowls.

Bush isn't nearly 100%, maybe 70%, but he still goes out and plays awhile to keep his timing and rythem down. He only practices one day a week if that. Most of the time he is whirlpooling or stretching. Not to mention that Leinart has been dizzy the past month.

If they can stay healthy and get healthier they blow any team off the field period.

V. Young is just not a good passing QB. Watch some of his throws, they are in the neighborhood, but the WR has to make a play on them. A short slant route across the middle and Young will throw it at the guys ankles. WR will go down and make the catch, but thats it, while a throw on the money would mean an extra 5-10+ yards after the catch. Dont get me wrong, he is a good player, uses his legs well. He has a great offensive line and Charles is turing into another excellent Texas RB. But Vince Young cannot throw the ball and will get exposed at some point. He got away with it at Ohio State, and is cruising through a very weak Big 12 schedule right now. But at some point, a team will force him to pass, and he will lose the game with his arm.

CubsMac, I totally agree. Texas basically did lose that game at Kansas last year before the phantom pass interference call that the Big XII commissioner called down to try to send two teams to BCS games. Young is very inaccurate and will never be a good NFL player, however USC's defense has not been the most impressive. The team that would expose them if given the chance I think would be Va Tech. I think Va Tech matches up with Texas better than any other team in the nation.

Sadly though, Va Tech will get no chance to play. Someone said that if they win out, they'll be in. Sorry, that's not the case. If Va Tech wins out, Texas stays in front of them and if Georgia or Alabama win out they hop Va Tech as well. Va Tech will get killed for their weak out of conference schedule
