any thoughts on this game? im leaning toward usa -15.5. they played amazing vs greece, i expect them to continue their "redeem mission" by winning by about 20 points here

Spain can keep them close. I'm on the +15. I figured USA would cover against Greece just because that was the game nobody was on them. Now they'll be a little too cocky heading into this one and Spain will keep it close. Not impossible to see an upset here either.

I got it a -15. I totally agree with you. I doubt the USA loses any game by less then 20 points in this tournament.

i like the under in this one. thinking spain will slow the game down to limit the number of possessions the usa has. also think the usa will turn up the defensive pressure and force spain into a lot of bad shots.

there won't be a let down in this game. usa wins a low scoring game by at least 20 :toast:

guy is anti everything american in these olympics... he diminished the accomplishment in the most amazing 4X100 free relay of all time which we won... he dumps on phelps, doubts the usa basketball team. there is more but i don't remember all of it.

I could see it close, I could see Us winning by 20...depends where the tempo of the game is...I like Spain to slow it down knowing this is there only chance to keep close...Im def taking the under...contemplating taking Spain only because I see USA up 15-20 late and just dribbling the air out of the ball and letting Spain do as they please the last minute or two of the game

US could struggle against spains gaurd play thats where they have been killing teams except spain has 2 good ones.
USA should win by 20+ but 15 is too much to lay against 4 other pretty much all star caliber players i do like the under though should be tough physical game

Isn't that what was said about Greece? Especially their pick and roll, not being able to defend it..blah blah blah. There is no reason USA doesn't roll over Spain just as they did Greece, and if you can see this game close, I don't know what kind of basketball you have been watching. 15 too much to lay against 4 other all star players? the one and only player that will struggle against spain's guard is old man Kidd. kobe, dwade, cp3, d williams will shut down spain's guard. i'm with u on the under though.

I hear ya, and just cause they should doesn't mean they won't....but the under does sound like a better play...we'll see how lithuania plays out, and if they win, going with Argentina.

Dude, you seriously sound like an idiot. I've said USA wins the gold in basketball easily from the beginning yet you say I doubt them. I have never dumped on Phelps. He is amazing and by far the greatest swimmer of all time, but there are tons of Olympians that could get 8 gold medals if they had that many events to enter. That is a fact whether you want to believe it or not. Most amazing 4X100 relay of alltime? I'm just guessing here, but I'd be willing to bet you've seen maybe 5 races in your life. I haven't seen much either, but unless you really watch all the swimming events that go on every year how can you call something the greatest race?

You're still upset because I said what pretty much every commentator siad, and that is Bernard let Lezak trail him for the gold and it's the reason the USA won.
