Can some of the golf guys help me out here? I'll be around the house all day tomorrow, want some action, but don't really know shit. I follow golf, but not closely.

Any matchups jump out to you? This is what my local has.

Those are very sharp matchups.

Sharper and harder than what I'm seeing at 5Dimes. Impressive, to me at least. My impression was like: "Wow. This BoogieMan or whomever he got these lines from knows his Golf and is decidedly uninterested in giving away money."

This is evidenced by the absence of Kuchar and Joost Luiten in available matchups. Either of those dudes would have been arguably a good investment....not available above though :(

I certainly agree with Falls on Lowry over Goosen but thats not any great revelation...-200 your man offers....thats very very expensive. That might be considered by some "crazy expensive" for a 1st Rd. British Open that historically has produced "unexpected" results to put it really mildly.

If these lines here...if I was forced to do something with these lines...just to have "Action" I'd Parlay that putrid reeking -200 Lowry over Goosen with another Falls suggestion Oosthuizen over J.Day and definitely Sergio over Patrick Reed but I'd NEVER give away 1/2 a stroke on Sergio like Falls suggested (and especially never...on another topic...in a Final Round....just to plant the seed for future reference. Sergio can encounter "challenges" in Final Rounds) and -160 on SERGIO here is another brutal brutal price.

These prices are very brutal.

Cuz of that and cuz I'm square shaped + utterly unwilling to risk the $$$ amounts listed above on Single Plays I'd parlay those 3 mentioned above with Snedeker over Els and not cuz that one too is crazy expensive but just cuz Snedeker was "touted" by some Sharps as a kinda dark horse at our own (US) Open which was on a similar Links style course to this here and Snedeker showed pretty well.

Els played better also, than I expected at least....mainly feel Els is a bit Long In The Tooth to be battling viably such challenging "circumstance" and Sned I feel is in good form.

Anything can happen with this Tourney though. I'd play those 4 in Parlay for small, like, $25 or 33 dollars or just 20 and not expect to actually Cash...

really difficult to imagine what could justify any golfer being -200 in ROUND ONE of this Tourney or any event on a Links course unless it was Luke Donald versus the 108 year old Great-Grandfather to that Tree Sloth that ya'll subbed in during the Stanley Cup Finals.

I know...."stfu". lol. :toast:

Save ya the typing. I already know to shut the fuck up.

Totally shocking. NO thing in his recent form to suggest this was gonna happen.

Surely he's gonna go off the rails Rd 3 or 4?

Lowry posting +1 just as shocking as whatever the hell got into Goose.

If you didn't see them watch Goose's Rd. 1 highlight reel...very impressive, he was feelin' it.

Hahaha, nah man, you're good. I like the insight.

PS Not sure why I put US Open in the thread title. Brain fart.

Here is what I ended up with.

Rose would be a real surprise. Immediate surprise is him -115. Thats genuinely puzzling.

Fowler just whooped his ass by 12 strokes to win the Scottish Open last week about 1 1/2 miles up the road.

Your only hope is that Ricky loses "that number" but I very much doubt he does cuz its the only one he wants and he doesn't wanna call nobody else. Translated to English you have to pray Ricky plays tight, tries too hard. And Rose plays with REVENGE on Ricky in mind just makes whooping Fowler's ass by as many shots as he can his focus.

Thats very conceivable.

Still -115 is puzzling in this spot. I didn't even notice that above must have seen it said subconsciously "wtf?" then blocked all memory of seeing it. If so what is seen can apparently be unseen after all lol.

Your leading after one Rose -1 Ricky even.

I think Justin Rose is doing that....just focusing solely on dismantling Ricky.

You might somehow be alright on this one. Brave ass play though.

Mickelson can handle Stenson, it might not be easy but he can do it. Glad you didn't play that for the whole tourney... first thing even near a "nice price" I've seen amongst these lines but its not nice its just less completely brutal than most of the rest of this Savage Garden.

Kaymer vs. Scott was, IMO, an excellent play at that price. That is a "nice price" IMO anyways.

If Kaymer plays to his capability here this match will come down to one shot and that of course is fair ev at +145!!!

On the calling it "US Open" just make it so we can go back in time and bet that...The US Open knowing now what we do about how it ended..

If you can't do that HC then just don't worry about it because all Americans are calling this "British Open" despite the fact that its no called The Open Championship.

This might be the straw that breaks their back. We've thoroughly butchered The Queen's English they may stop talking to us Ugly Americans altogether after this one. w-thumbs!^ more likely they'll just throw bangers and mash at us.
