Heard 12 seed is 60% last few years vs 5 seeds. I think Utah is weak

Careful this time around, not a good looking 12 in the bunch. JMHO, and I'm religious about playing 12's on the ML.

thanks fellas.... gotta try and do some home work next few days. Having surgery Thursday morning and will probably be out of it for a few days. Tore my shoulder tendon and bicep tendon about a year ago and put it off as long as i could. When I scheduled the surgery i was not thinking about march madness and that was my luck !

9s and 12s are the seeds to look at. considering how (purposely?) poorly the committee seeded some teams, this should be a wild tournament....outside of Kentucky beating everyone :)

Well, rule of thumb is ya play all four 12's on the ML, but as I pointed out, only Buffalo is enticing, I think the committee got it right this year for a change. Not sure I have the stomach to play the 12's this time.

I agree T. Not too enticing this year.

No Mo Valley team in the mix, it's really a poor crop, as I mentioned, the Committee got it right for a change. I'm probably passing this year.

If I recall, three 12's won outright last year, but I don't see one winning this time around.

Be careful with this one. WVU is very good this year and Huggy Bear can coach 'em up.

WVU lost 3 of its last 4 all without Staten. I don't think he is going to be 100% vs. Buffalo. Buffalo was up 5 at half in Lexington earlier in the year. Moss is a double/double waiting to happen. Evans is excellent in transition (not a great shooter). Buffalo has won 8 straight. Have 7 guys who average 6 pts. per game or more. Hurley is a rising star in the coaches ranks. Think WVU is primed to be upset here. Will see.

Agree. If Wva wins, I think they get the life sucked outta them and are doomed the next round.

West Virginia has one great player and everyone else is young and average. West Virginia wasn't good at all against the top teams in the Big12 this year.

Remember Buffalo was up at half at Wisconsin and then Kaminsky turned it on second half to give the badgers about a 10 point win. Plus one of Buffalo's leading scorers did not play; he turned his ankle the day before. Buffalo went through a funk in the middle of conference play but they haven't lost in a month. Hurley's got them playing well together.

It's almost a certainty that at least 2 of 4 win every year. Weird, but it's just one of those things that always seems to happen.
