here is how this rating system works.
in week 6, for instance, miami is at jax.
miami 125
jax 112

miami would be a 13 pt road favorite.

the actual pointspread is not an incorporated factor.

road favs of 9 or more,(in this rating system), have gone 7-2-1 ats,(the actual line), since the start of the regular season.

in pick'em games, i deal with strictly how the home team fares vs the actual spread."only the home team".

pick'em games are games where the 2 competing teams have the same rating number, this week for example it is the ne/nyg game.
in this game the home team,(ne) is the favorite in the actual line.
on the year home team picks, WHEN FAVORED, have gone 3-0 ats.
