Lander,

I have made the comment in private, and now I will make it in public...you are bringing down this forum with these type of posts. Not so much in the past, but as of late, you are becoming the type of poster that does not represent the Rx properly. If you were not an employee of the forum, it would be all good. However, I feel since you are a member of the Rx team....your rantings should be kept in check.

FWIW, the only PROVEN rapist in the group is Tyson. He did his time for that crime. Chamura....innocent. Kobe and Castro...innocent UNTIL PROVEN guilty...not guilty until proven innocent. Patterson...well, not sure on that one, as I do not know details.

Just saying brother, I know it is a stressful time of the year for us all, but you need a happy pill. Negativity is not good for ya, man. Have faith, be positive, and see the cup as half full...not half empty. Makes for a much happier lifestyle.

There will be a lot more newbies here in the coming weeks, and you do not want them to get the wrong impression. I hope you understand where I am coming from....

Jake,
I've said this in private & now I'll say it in public - your book sucks, hence the reason I do NOT play there.

Lucky for us we have free will. You have the choice to NOT read my post - and I have the choice to NOT play at your book.

btw - I am NOT an employee of the forum. I have a freelance deal worked out with Ken that is completely seperate from the forum - if fact it's on a completely different server & is hosted by a different company.

Thanks for the concern, but I will carry on as I see fit

Lander,

WOW...I never attacked you, sir. Sorry to see that you could not take constructive criticism and had to result to attacking me and my book. My post was not meant to be as a representative of my book, but rather as a long time poster sharing his opinion. I was simply offering a different point of view...a different perspective on how your posts influence the way the posters see this forum. I was under the impression that you worked for the Rx. Guess I was wrong...so as I said "If you were not an employee of the forum, it would be all good."

Sorry to hear that you do not like our book, but I would love to hear your reasonings should you care to share them with me. Maybe I can clear up any misconceptions that you may have, or maybe you can give me some ideas on how I can correct any problems that you have noticed. If so, call me 800-430-5896 ext. 2007 or jake@sportbet.com

Good luck this season, Lander. May your life be more fullfilling and rewarding by the day.

This is your idea of constructive critism?

I have no reason to call you, if I need something from your company I will contact Eric, as he is a pleasure to work with.

Lander,

I think you are taking my post out of context. I said..."I have made the comment in private, and now I will make it in public...you are bringing down this forum with these type of posts"

It is not you bringing down the forum...but rather these type of posts. I thought, as you are a long time poster, would understand where I was coming from. Now it looks like the hostility is born from a simple misunderstanding. Again, I was not trying to attack you. As the mods who speak to me regularly, I have complimented you in the past. Take care, bud.

Jake,

You are a nice guy and thanks for the baseball contest, but Sportbet has high vig, and doesnt offer much. I agree we should have a positive attitude, but I also agree Kobe is a rapist and he let down the black youth of america.

This is a sad thread! The love of my life was raped when she was 15, she handled it better then I did! We ended up breaking the relationship off after 3 years, I guess in hindsight she should have never told me, I use to have nightmares about the rape! I don't get mad often but I really was going to kill the guy, she was afraid to tell anyone at the time because he was a "star" high school athelete, what a joke! I met her in college 4 years after the fact, wherever you are dude, you have "no idea" how lucky you are to be alive. My brothers talked me out of taking you out, but he and all the others that commit this heinous crime will pay the "piper" somewhere, sometime in this or the next life. Beware to those that believe they can get away with this crime! Enough said!!

And it was hard to demonize the Yankees, who seemed to have more success with underage girls (Mel Hall and Luis Polonia committed statutory rape in the same season, still a major league record, as far as we know) than in getting back to the World Series.

Rape suit drops Browns player
By Compiled from Times wires

© St. Petersburg Times, published November 8, 2000

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CLEVELAND -- Browns linebacker Jamir Miller has been dismissed as a defendant in a civil lawsuit filed by a woman who says she was raped during a promotional boat ride on the Cuyahoga River.

F. Benjamin Riek III, attorney for the woman, said the amended complaint filed Monday does not include Miller because "the facts have indicated he did not assault my client."

MY FAVORITE AS A KID GROWING UP IN CHI TOWN--add a few more guys.........
THE QAs an organization, the Bulls have had some pretty punk moves pulled by their players.

1) Quentin Dailey gets drafted by the Bulls, then accused of raping a nursing student.
2) Scottie Pippen gets pulled over with an unregistered gun in his car.
3) Marcus Fizer does his Scottie Pippen impersonation.
