Update on Fishhead

He called a few minutes ago and he is just beginning to celebrate the Lightning win. Wanted me to join him but I decided to just stay home. Guess I'm feeling my age and a few drinks already, and don't need to make that drive back here later. The game was enough excitement for me. What a game!!!

Hope he does his celebrating safely. Anyway he asked me to post that he won't be back for awhile.

Just got a frenzied call from Fish. He called from a Bennigan's in Tampa to say he is partying with Martin St. Louis, Cory Stillman, and Darryl Sydor.

It was quite wild in the background and he insisted on my posting this information. A voice came on the phone briefly which Fish said was Cory Stillman. In was indeed quite wild in the backround. Lots of yelling and noise. Fish was very, very excited. Have never heard him like that before.

Just got another call from Fish. He wanted you all to know that he's been hanging with Martin, Cory, and Darryl for a while now and Martin St. Louis has just now bought him a beer.

Fish says they think that he is crazy but they are all hitting it off real good.

This hopefully will be my last Fishhead update for the night as the Mrs. and I are hitting the sack. Really do hope he gets home without any problems.

I swear to GOD, I just got done shooting the shit with MVP of the league, MARTIN ST. LOUIS.

We shot the shit and bought each others beers for a good two hours.

What a great time!!

Personally, I got on the microphone and gave quite an inspirational speeech to the Lightning platers in attendance.

Despite the Lightning win, which I did not bet on but enjoyed; I have lost my ass on bases the last few days again and wasn't in the mood for partying.

Fish you gotta get out here this afternoon. Horrendous losing streak last 5 days. You are riding quite high sir and your presence I know would rub off and break the streak.

In fact last night, I told Mrs. Jones that I would quit gambling till foots [except for Nascar]. But your phone call woke me up this morning...it's a beautiful new day...I didn't call for my balances...checked the rotation...I know I got a winner in there somewhere today.

Fish I got a bottle of Jack Daniels and twenty Amaroso Torpedoes. Plan on spending the afternoon in the shaded hottub watching a game while sipping whiskey and smoking a cigar.

The pool is still pretty cold so you cool off and then the hottub again. You can sweat that shit out of your system in the hottub. Bring the steaks. Or we can have Mrs. Jones' excellent pot roast. Let me know.
