Unbelieveable site

One of the most interesting sites I have ever
seen. Just put your mouse on a city anywhere in the world
and the newspaper headlines pop up... Double click and the
page gets larger....

Also, if you look at the European papers,
the far left side of Germany will pop up as The Stars &
Stripes (European edition, of course). AND, this site
changes everyday with the publication of new editions of the
paper.

Nice site - not much in the way of UK papers, but I guess more will be added as time goes on.

Another good site for news is:

It may primarily be a UK site, but it indexes a load of news feeds on all sorts of different topics from throughout the world as well and plenty of sport coverage - currently there are 35066 different news sources feeding into it.

It can be very handy for just checking the headlines each day (either by sport or by individual teams) to see whats going on, then you can easily click and see the whole article if something catches your eye.

It refreshes automatically every few mins as well, which is something that I have found particularly useful on trade deadline days as a great way to keep up to date with things as and when they happen.

If anyone happens to know of any other sites like this then may as well add them here as well - particularly if they are more US or Sports orientated...

I have to admit this is pretty cool. It's interesting how the style of news is different depending on the region. Going from the East to Mid West almost looks like a different country.

It beats the hell out of Microfiche.
