I am with you guys on the over but...

is a very misleading statement. Those numbers are not that significant compared to "real" over umps.

Also his last two outings have gone under.

Like I said, I am with you on the under, but there are far stronger numbers over/under on other umps if you are playing that angle.

so before he went under 2 in a row he was 8-3-2 on the over. Sounds like an over ump to me..

My point about Meriwether being an Over ump is
his Ave Runs per game at 11.33
Plus if you look at his history this season
you will see that at least 7 runs have been
scored when he is behind the plate.
I've seen a couple Over umps who have a few games that
have only gone 3-4 runs.
