MLB needs to suspend without pay umpires who don't know the rules, interpret the rules correctly, are over aggressive, and don't know the individual ballpark rules...

that is just disgusting that he does not know the ballpark rules. How the fuck is he the lead ump? MLB does nothing, just let it go. This has a direct impact on the integrity of the game and nothing...

MLB is such a fucking joke. Umpires are such a fucking joke...

Is it not his job to know the rules??? I think this falls under that... Suspend him without pay, maybe then he will study and do his job....

If anyone of us did something this incompetent we would be fired...

The extra inning Braves game (botched call at home plate) was the final straw for me.
Clearly the HPU had enough, just wanted to get back to the hotel room.

When the managers meet at home plate before the game, the purpose of that meeting is to exchange line ups and go over grounds rules, in detail.

Not to discuss where to eat after the game, or the size of the sweater meat of the blonde sitting behind the dugout.

Yes I saw that one, total joke!!! It seems like umpires just want to get the game done and go to eat. That Braves game would totally fall under that category....

Many umpires really are incompetent and just mail it in. Some seem like they really don't give 2 shits and when they fuck up they just throw out the players/managers when they complain about a totally awful call...
They do that because they can and are allowed to by MLB who just let's their umpires run loose without any reprimands. The umps can do whatever they want without any suspensions or disciplinary action from MLB....

Of all things wrong in baseball, the umpires are the single biggest problem and many need their pink slips...

Who remembers these, probably not Yankees fans: Tuesday night’s Robinson Cano’s controversial home run against Tommy Hunter and the Texas Rangers sparks memories of Derek Jeter’s non-home run in the 1996 American League Championship between the Yankees and the Baltimore Orioles. On October 9, 1996, the Yankees trailed the Orioles 4–3 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Jeter hit a deep fly ball to right field. Baltimore right fielder Tony Tarasco went all the way back to the wall, when the then-12-year-old Jeffrey Maier reached over the from the stands and robbed Tarasco of the ball. The Yankees ended up winning that game 5-4 with a Bernie Williams home run in the 11th inning. If only this arrogant Yankees fan could be as innocent and likable as Jeffrey Maier was.
