I have been playing around with excel sheets for some time and after finishing my own custom spreadsheet, just found a free poker spreadsheet that has everything you need AND MORE to keep stats.

You can basically keep tabs on ANYTHING... make sure you update all the years and poker rooms, spreadsheet is old and still includes closed rooms like AP/UB.

What is the advantage of this over all the built-in tracking done automatically by Holdem Manager 2 or similar HUD products?

I hate HUDs in a way... guess is for you do to your own tracking, I have the demo version for HEM2 and is not expired yet... Just cant get used to it, and it bothers me the data of the opponents is not in the position it should be, is 2 seats afterwards... have not taken the time to configure it... ZZZZ

Also, I heard from someone you can buy HUD profiles that are configured and set better than the original HEM2? :think2:

Thanks for the pointer, now that they've opened up a poker room in the Austin area, I'm back to playing live. No rake, no tipping - it's
a gold mine.

Also, you can keep your live poker records!

Yeah that makes sense.

Just to clarify, if you have HM2 or something similar running in the background, it still keeps all your hand history and compiles your stats even if you turn the HUD display off.

Not sure about buying a HUD that's configured "better" than HM2. HM2 is so customizable, I'm having a hard time envisioning something being leaps and bounds better.
