Is a fluke.

Take a trip back to last year and see how they faired against teams with winning record. The majority ran for over 200 yards per game. Their secondary stunk. They averaged 428 yards on defense.

Last year the following teams got over 200 yards rushing on UL:
Syracuse, UTEP :biglaugh: , TCU, Memphis, Houston, Cincy, and Miami Ohio

None of them the caliber of Miami.

Do you actually think they have turned things around that much on Defense? Petrino is a good offensive mind, but the defense has yet to be tested and look who they are racking up all those yards against.

Classic case of a team that racks up nice stats against nobodies.

Miami rolls easily. Back to reality for UL and a frustrating night for Cardinal fans and bettors.

Gonna wait till this evening and see if I can get this line around 7.

Pete,

I may double down on Miami. I haven't actualy put the wager in yet, but I think there may be some 8's out there at game time. I don't know if it will get to 7 though.
