I am questioning my own hoop wagering forever
Had Kentucky -2.5.....trying to figure out this morning just how in the fuck I lost this game. Worst beating I've ever taken. I'd like to know how many teams in the history of the game (besides Villanova's historic win over G'town in the 80's) have shot at least 68% from the field and 62% from the 3 pt. line for the game and only won by 2 or less. Yes, I know their TO's were high, but I watched Kentucky control this game by double digits for a majority of the game. The final score was as close as K-State got since the very beginning of the game. Towards the end, there was a sequence where K. State got 7 offensive rebounds in one possession - WTF?? And of course, the unchallenged three at the end from 26 ft. goes in -- turns out the Kentucky steal before that ironically actually doomed instead of helped me. For a wagered game of 98 shots and 56 free throws to be decided by a 26 ft. meaningless 3 pointer at the end is just asinine.
Sorry to filibuster, but just have to vent. I'm 36 yrs. old and have gambled on all the major sports since college consistently year in and year out. So, I'm not speaking off the cuff here, because I've taken many bad beats, some similar to this one. But for some reason, this one is really sticking in my crawl. Absolutely did NOT deserve the push or the loss......and I don't know if I can deal with this kinda ridiculous shit for another whole season. Thanks for putting up with this, and GL this weekend.
