UGA was the play the last two years and Tennessee SMOKED em. That said I like UGA - having the bye week and no Cutcliffe for UT = Poodles win.

Georgia lookin for payback. UT has a new QB that has never played in an SEC environment or played against an SEC defense. I think Georgia will stack the box to stop Foster and Hardesty.. daring Stephens to beat them through the air. Georgia by 17

I like Tennessee here. If they get blown out here I give up on them, but they can hang with UGA. The score vs Florida wasn't indicative of how close it really was. Tennessee just made huge mistakes way too often which got the game out of hand. If they score from the one their two opportunites and don't turn the ball over all game, and don't allow that ridiculous punt return (no way he should have taken that back, about 5 guys tried silly arm tackles) then that game is close throughout. I realize that is a lot of "if's", but that stuff is easier to work on then if they actually just had a lack of talent on the roster. 12 points is a lot in the SEC, and although I think Georgia is the most talented team there is in the conference I think they play close with Tenn here.

I'll be back at HT with my "I give up on Tenn" speech when the score is 27-0.

If UGA has to stack the box against UT they are in a heap of trouble. They shouldnt have to do that.

What about the game again N.ILLINI when they could only muster to score 13 points. They suck and UGA will blow them out with or without Moreno Tenn might only score 10 points . I'm calling 34-10

Tennessee is just not good. No discipline! I think Georgia picks the score in this one.

They just played down to their competition and didn't really care about the game. I know from experience, and I'm sure anyone who's played sports on this board can agree that when you play the worst teams in the league and you know they are terrible you don't play with the same intensity, or smarts. A lot of the time when you play shit teams people on the team think of it as a game to boost their stats and just have fun. Obviously playing a tight game with NIU wasn't fun for them, but that's because they didn't take them seriously. They will get up and hopefully be prepared for the bigger names they'll face, especially in conference play.

If they don't come ready to play a team like UGA it reflects poor coaching. Fulmer's job might be on the line here. Not saying they have to win, but they have to stay close. Tenn had high hopes this year and they've done nothing but embarrass themselves so far.
