I posted this last year, so I thought I would bring it back up for this year's game.

Here is my thought's for this year's game.
I wanted to run down a few things for the UGA/USC game that might be of interest.
First, since 1998 this is the total points scored in the game:
2007 - 28
2006 - 18
2005 - 32
2004 - 36
2003 - 38
2002 - 20
2001 - 23
2000 - 31
1999 - 33
1998 - 20
That's 11 straight years that the Under has hit. (It hit in 1997 as well).
Obviously this year's total is not posted yet, so I am waiting on that.
This game has been based off the defenses of both teams. I dont expect a lot to change this year either. USC has not named a starting QB yet for the game, but so far, the QB's have thrown 6 INT's on 66 pass attempts. In my opinion, Smelley will get the start. USC's O-Line has looked shaky at best, giving up 9 sacks in 2 games which is last in the NCAA. The UGA defense will concentrate on stopping the run to force the QB into passing situations and try to exploit the O-Line of USC.
UGA has played two weak defensive opponents, and will get a real test from a very fast and verteran unit from USC. I don't expect to see the same team that we saw in the second half of the Vandy game. USC's strength on defense is their DE's and LB's, and UGA is still young up front and has not been tested so far...I expect that to change. UGA will be forced to rely on Knowshon and screen passes much more so in this game than in the first 2 games, which will result in longer drives.
GL to everyone, I will have other plays later, but wanted to get in a write-up for this game.
I am looking for a total in the mid 40s again for this one, but hoping to see a number near 50.
BOL to all.
