Decent card and a freebie to boot, which normally turns into the better cards anywho. Couple plays getting in before weigh-ins, and looking at a few more to follow. Good luck and enjoy...

Joe Proctor -185....................................0.5 unit -wanna see weigh-ins and find out a little more about training camp and such before pulling the trigger more. He has been injury prone and coming off of over a year long stint of no fights. Has an underrated ground game, and the boxing and striking is far superior to Marcello's haymakers, however, Marcello's jitz is remarkable. Think Proctor can keep it standing and KO or score an easy decision here if he keeps it standing.

Leans...
Carmont +425
Jorge -130
V. Andrade -130

Parlay 2 units to win 1.50 units
Erik Silva
Charles Oliviera
Iuri Alcantara

Felipe Arantes -105................................0.5 unit -Blanco comes in 2 lbs overweight disrespecting the legit opponent in Arantes. Looking for Arantes to step up here and take care of business.

Francis Carmont +435............................0.5 unit -Jacare Souza is a bad man, especially on the ground where he has World Class jitz and submission grappling skills. His stand up is better than given credit for, and he does hit hard, so you can't take that for granted either. However, Carmont is a Tri-Star trained fighter that has great stand up skills and is very athletic and strong. Carmont's game plan should be to keep this standing and try and pick Jacare apart. In order to do so, he's going to have to use that strength and speed for a hell of a night in take down defense. Composure is key, where he needs to stay level headed and away from the flashy head kicks and such. Carmont keeps this standing, and he can score a nice decision and frustrate Jacare. As long as he doesn't tire, I think this has a great chance of happening. If you like Jacare, I would find something to Parlay it with as -525 is severely steep here IMO.

Gegard Mousasi +205........................0.5 unit -Mousasi feels he is still underrated and an unknown for no reason, and I totally agree. Sure, his last performance with Latifi wasn't stellar, but he also went the entire fight with one leg basically, and had knee surgery directly afterwards, where he now claims he is 100% and ready. If he is, then he definitely has the skill set to beat The Dragon. He needs to stay composed and not let Lyoto's style frustrate him. Lyoto's doesn't look to be sleeping on Mousasi's skill set as he is ripped and looks ready to fight. A win here will most likely solidify a Title shot with the Belfort/Weidman winner (Weidman it is), and most of the fight world would love to see it as The Dragon is still a lot of folks favorite fighter. This is no easy feat tomorrow night, and I see value in the +205 on what is a toss up fight IMO.

Thanks man. Enjoy the fights. this UFC Fight Pass is a bunch of BS. Now Dana says he's going to make all fighters wear the same "uniforms". Totally against it....What's next?!?! Only Top 40 current songs can be used for walkout music...Pretty sad when my local promotion cares more about the fighters than the UFC does.

BOL Matty, i'll be tailing some of your plays tonight for small potatoes. I haven't watched enough of these guys to form a strong opinion on my own.

As always, enjoy the fights!

There we go baby! The two remaining parlays easily hit.

4-1 (+2.78 units)

Guaranteed a nice night now. Would love to nail at least one of these last 2 doggies. May add a 0.5 unit to Mousasi at +190. Let's see what Carmont can do. Boy he didn't look warmed up just now. I hope he is because he's about to feel the pressure.

Tad short on Carmont. Won the 2nd, but spent too much time on his back in 1st and 3rd. Not a bad showing though. Good job just not to get subbed.

4-2 (+2.28 units)

letting Mousasi ride.

Damn, the speed of Machida was the difference. Frustrated Mou all night. At 35, The Dragon still got it...

4-3 (+1.78 units)

Cannot wait till UFC 170 next weekend!
