Obviously unique situation with the 2 year layoff and Mendes is likely somewhat cleaner than he's been in the past.

Ya, just go to Pride Rules or something. Sick of these fights where you got the right side and are still only like -200 to win when it goes to the scorecards.

Maybe as sports betting gets bigger and gamblers become a bigger portion of the UFC's audience, they will try to modify their antiquated rules.

I like Jury,but Mendes should still be stronger,dope or not. He could wrestlefuck Jury if he gets it there,but idk,it’s a no play for me and should be a good fight.

Yeah, Mendes is interesting. He could just be done.

Last fight he got KO'd by Edgar. Edgar not known for KOing people at all. 2 years is a long time away from the game at the lower weight classes.

Mendes has some marketability though so I tend to think the UFC did like his chances to make this matchup.
