Yes, he is a great fighter. But he did nothing, absolute nothing the whole fight except for those two instances. And that's all it took.

Feel free to post the after-fight stats.

Just because Cub threw punches, it doesn't mean they landed or did anything. Throwing punches look flashy.

Ortega was the bigger stronger guy. Cubs punches were exactly that....like a cub. Ortega is like a bear.

Come on, man! Ortega lost to the Brazilian... but the fool went to the ground and that was it. The Brazilian was better.


What if Holloway peppered for Aldo two rounds straight but at the end of each round Aldo put him in a death grip and almost choked him out? Would Aldo be better?

Cub won the first round and the live odds reflected that. It would have been a round win w/o any discussion were it not for the choke.


Hats off to Ortega. The good thing is that he will keep moving up and we'll get to see him against the very top guys so that will be exciting.
