WOW I would think this fight would be even. I love Nog at that price. It could even get better with everyone in love with Couture.

Nog wins this one. Has Couture ever fought someone with the skill level for subs like Nog?

Fight should be close to even for the following reasons:

Coutures Edge:
*Couture is fighting in front of a hometown crowd.
*Nog still hasn't proven he can fight in a cage.
*3 RD fight favors Couture and his takedowns.

Nogs Edge
*Coutures gonna be over the hill eventually.
*Nog will be the bigger fighter and has had experience with Coutures dirty boxing tactics.
*Coutures takedowns will play right in to Nogs guard.

good little write up...i like to see what pays for going the 3 rd distance. could be a very boring lay and pray fight.

Vera should beat Hamill.

This could go either way. I think Couture gets Nog to the ground, and in my opinion that is Nog's only chance. Nog needs to sub him.

I like Couture but not at -210, would have jumped on it at +100.

Nog looked like he was 50 in his last fight while Couture looked like he was in damn good shape. If Couture could "handle" Brock and his athletic ability, I doubt Nog's size and age harm Couture in the least.

Nog's only way of winning is from his back, however that is where I see teh fight going, so I have no real opinion.

I think Nog can beat him on the feet as well. Nog had a torn MCL in his fight with Mir and that was a horrible showing. Nog has hung in there with some of the best on his feet and has experience boxing with the Cuban National Team. Couture at -210 is way overpriced here as I actually have him penciled in as a small underdog.

I think he can stand and do well, but I doubt he can finish Couture on the feet and he won't have enough time to work there when Couture is locking him up and working on taking him down.
