Nothing to do with Jardine, UFC wants Jackson to keep winning so they put him in with someone he can beat

Very likely to fight the champ if he beats Jardine. UFC is not putting him in a winnable fight as the main event unless they are giving him a title shot shortly.

Who else would Jackson fight? They are just making him fight again to somewhat earn the title shot back. He wins he gets Evans.

Anything can happen in MMA, there is no gimmie fight. Jardine is a solid fighter, look at the rest of the division, Manchida, Chuck, Shogun, Forrest, T. Silva. He just fought Forrest and the rest all have matches set up. Who was he going to fight?

No, even if rampage wins he may have to take a back seat to machida if he wins. IMO Machida deserves the title shot more, but money talks and Rampage Rashad would make more money, plus Machida is generally considered a "boring" fighter, so the UFC may not be in a hurry to have him get the belt.

He doesn't deserve it more in my opinion. Who has he beat? Jackson has been great and lost the title in a real close fight.

But even if silva beats machida then he should get it since they are both 13-0 but i dont think thats the case.

Jardine is a spoiler, but I think Rampage is too powerful for him.

Shogun-Chuck is less interesting than it would have been a year ago. Even though Shogun hasn't looked good, I just don't think Chuck has what it takes anymore.

Shogun HAS to improve his cardio...he looked almost as bad as Coleman did. UFC should pay me for watching that fight

I am not even sure Shogun can win this , Chuck still has more gas than Shogun and he aint no Coleman who landed some shots , if Chuck does it can be lights out for gassed Mauricio .

If the fight stays up off the ground Liddell wins imo

chuck has good take down defense, he does not go down very easily, but if shogun can get him on the ground that will be his best chance
