this is what I played ...
Anthony "Rumble" Johnson Wins Inside the Distance (-110)
Cody "No Love" Garbrandt Wins Inside the Distance (-135)
Tim "Dirty Bird" Means Wins Inside the Distance (-160)
"The Notorious" Conor McGregor (-125)
Do or Die fight for the Irishman. Back to back losses will not only be embarrassing but his stock as a UFC superstar will plummet proving to the doubters that he was indeed all hype.
Unlike the first fight after a change in fighters, McGregor has trained exclusively for Diaz. The keys to victory tonight are somewhat simple ... Discipline / Constant Pressure and Patience. Conor needs to know this fight is a marathon / not a sprint. He needs to be aggressive but conserve the gas tank and expect the fight to be dragged into deep water vs. a top notch endurance athlete who never gets tired and can take an ass beating. McGregor will need to stalk Nate down, keep him on his heels while constantly landing the big left hand and unlike the first fight, mix in the big kicks. He totally abandoned his kicks in the first fight relying on just throwing bombs. He needs to get it through his head that there are other ways of winning besides a knockout.
IMO IF Conor does pull this out, it will be in the later rounds and needs to do whatever it takes to keep the fight standing. He will need to chip away round by round building up his scorecard while doing damage at the same time. But If this does go to the floor, We will see the same result - Nate will choke his ass out again.
Its basically a coin flip fight ... anything can happen and I just want to have a little action to make it more exciting. If Conor pulls it off I win a few bucks ... If Nate wins, I will be happy to see the mouthy cock sucker lose again and look like a chump ... in my eyes its a Win / Win situation.
