Wonder if this card even happens. Cujedo pulls out against Jorgensen cause he's once again sick from the weight cut (surprise). Renan Barao faints backstage and is off the card. Now UFC newcomer Joe Soto is fighting Dillashaw for the title. I'm honestly kind of interested in the huge underdog story. Take Soto at 3/1 or better odds. He's a legit fighter and guys with ground games have given Dillashaw issues in the past. Crossing my fingers I get 6/1 or so.
Plan for it too, myself. Dropped that .5 in case I forget with football and such or being away. If it does and I'm around, I will drop a little more as well, especially if Brunson at least comes through.I would wait until fight time, jake, unless you know something I don't. Every mainstream forum that I see (UG, BE, Junkie) is giving Soto 0 chance here. I think it might go up?
Soto up to +825 at my place. gonna let the rest of my night in foots and mma play out, then prob throw a little more on it.
Only concern we have with Soto is he trained for a 3 Round fight, and this is 5, so he should go after him early, and hopefully not tire if he doesn't catch him. He should be ready for 6 rounds minimum anyways (we always train for double the rounds of the fight).
Good luck and enjoy the rest of the night of foots and MMA...
Correct, and a known finisher. Main thing that concerns me with Soto is I can't get it out of my head that he got KO'd to oblivion by tomato can Joe Warren, but it seems Soto takes things a little more serious now.Thats a good point. OTOH, TJ was training for a long MT guy with good TD defense where Soto is a shorter wrestle-boxer.
+Derek Brunson -120.............................2 units
Ready to see weigh-ins this afternoon, but will have plays most likely on Barao +145 and Shayna Bazler +120
