Alex Caceresm aka Bruce Leeroy fights are slow , he does not have KO power , he barely beat Sergio Pettis, in the last second of the fight that he won by Submission (rear-naked choke). At 35, Faber (30-7) finds himself on an undercard. The last time Urijah Faber KO someone was Bibiano Fernandes in 2006. Faber need to accept his new role as a "gatekeeper.” He is coming off a tore his hamstring during UFC 169 training camp and a Patella tendon bruise. Alex Caceres on the other side is a Jeet Kune Do/Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter who doesn’t really do anything well, he just good enough to get by the competition so far. Caceres asked for this fight , to step up to the No 3 ranked UFC Bantamweight.

Matt, as much as I do respect handy capping skills, always read your posts.. Faber will the Bantamweight "gatekeeper" after this fight

But, that' the thing, now you're saying "after". If he loses this fight, that may be true, but the #2-3 ranked fighter in a Division is never a gatekeeper. Bruce Leroy is a gatekeeper. Matt Browne was the ultimate gatekeeper. Is he still? No way...

It sounds like you're almost certain Bruce Leroy wins this fight, so why not grab the +700?

Also, I said I liked this pick of Under 1.5. Now, not so much. If Faber wins, it's most likely a sub in the 1st IMO, and I lean that way. Bruce Leroy has looked really good since TUF and improved in every fight. He was jacked at the weigh-ins yesterday, but to think Faber is now slow and he's going to be able to outpoint him might be reaching somewhat. We shall see. I'm amped for tonight, but actually am more excited for tomorrow when my boy and the next Flyweight Champion of the World IMO fights for the 3rd time in the UFC.

Good luck and enjoy the weekend of fights.
