I really doubt it. I think macdonald is a bit too technical for him and the line is set about right. I look at it like this. The line is about 3.5/1 or so, juice adjusted. I only think lawlers shot at winning is a flash ko, a big shot. Do I see that outcome occurring more that 1 out of four fights between those guys? Nah, I think 1/4 or 1/5 chance of a ko is about right. On the other hand, Rory and Robbie's combined chance of finishing is set at about 1/2. I think one of these guys finish at a much higher rate, so I took the under. Either Robbie ko's him or Rory's accumulation eventually breaks lawler - that happens more often than half the time, imo. Remember BJ and Rory? I see this as being similar to that most of the fight, only with Robbie eventually breaking down from macdonald'is attack. Also, Rory will be more inclined and able to take down Robbie than BJ, which gives the added opportunity of a sub or GNP finish. Good luck with whatever you decide.
I wound up sticking with my gut, and went small on Lawler, was a fav fighter of mine for years since he used to fight in Hawaii. Also was on Hendrix, which I had Hendrix 3-2. Aloha...
Bad night bros. 1-5 -4.1x with an updated total of 27-28 +1.05x.
I have the event on the dvr and will have to watch the main event again. I had Hendricks 4-1, but a few rounds were kinda close. The dudes I was watching with were anti-GSP and they thought it was a highway robbery. I really feel bad for big rig - the dude put it all out there and beat gsp at his own type of fight but just couldn't get the nod.
