UCLA Suspends Four Players

Plenty of articles today about UCLA's suspension of four players for this weeks game against Kansas State including starting corner back Courtney Viney for violating team rules.

and this comes from Lawrence, KS home of the Jayhawks. Despite being a K-State fan I have played on Kansas more in the last few years. For me, there are no emotional attachments when it comes to betting. Mangino has been a covering machine like his former mentor Snyder was back in the 90's. Where at first I thought Mangino was a traitor for coaching Kansas after being an assitant with K-State and Oklahoma, I now like him alot. Its funny how a team covers for you and your attitude changes.

I am the OFFICIAL KState Gambler damnit and listen when I tell you, KSU can't hang with UCLA. It would be very hard to imagine them hanging with UCLA in LA, the value here is with UCLA - 4 players and the starting QB. Kstate could not move the ball against the Ragin Cajuns and had multiple three and outs. I watched the game on ESPN 360, they are just plain bad. Until KState proves otherwise, bet against them. May sound like bad analysis, but sometimes it is that simple, Occam's Razor boys.

Last week was one of the few times I was tempted to play against Snyder. In fact, I don't think I've ever played against Snyder (maybe once or twice while playing on him a bunch with good success). I usually passed or played on him in previous years. Last year I played K-State once and that was against North Texas (posted here) and they covered. I couldn't play them the rest of the year because of their defense (very unSnyder like). Since I don't play against them I'm taking a wait and see approach. However, I might end up waiting the whole year like last year after Game 1 when I saw no value on them the remainder of the season.

snyder wasnt coach last year, ron prince was and has been for the past few yrs. snyder only returned this off season after prince got canned

this team is junk, no qb, lacks athletes, dont know if snyder will be able to build up again on junior college transfers again, I wish we didnt give him a 5 yr extension 2 games into the year

he'll get the defense back on track in a few years
I know because Snyder is one of those crazy workaholic coaches who works 18 hours a day and eats one meal a day
The Stoops (Bob and Mike) brothers said Snyder would have them and other assistants work 100 hours a week

once synder gets this prince trash out of manhattan, kstate can come back to form under synder and become a contender in the big 12. until princes players r gone kstate will struggle against everyone. UCLA could win with their 2nd and 3rd string

idk, snyder is pretty old, the few years off and the growth of the big 12 in talent over that time span has me worried. It wont be for atleast 2-3 years before they are decent in a loaded big 12 conference
