how about a ND vs Texass fiesta bowl

or better yet - notre dame/cal in the rose bowl - cal runs them off the field

could happen because if ther rose bowl loses both its teams (pac 10 and big 11) it would get first choice of at large teams and would the rose bowl LOVE notre dame although they might stick for the traditional matchup of cal vs osu/hail to the victors loser

...all 3 interesting match-ups...one things for sure, if ND beats USC and finishes 11-1, they'll be in a BCS bowl. But what if USC beats ND and Cal to finish 12-0 and play in the Nat. Champ. against the winner of OSU/UM? In that scenario, Cal and ND both will be 10-2...would they, could they both get a BCS bowl? The Rose Bowl is no longer tied to the Big Ten/Pac Ten winners so conceivably it could be Cal-ND.

YES - the same Cal team that took Wash for granted because of that and was not motivated for the game at all

Cal in the rose bowl for the first time in almost 50 years gets them BIG TIME motivated and a motivated Cal teams runs ND off the field. tedford is every bit as good a coach as Weis - if not better

I think Weis can outscheme Tedford. However on talent I agree with Winky & think Cal runs them off the field if they met. Cal would probably get points too & it will be sucker city on ND.
