'Tis far better to put John Barnes on the list for one shining moment that Trojans will never forget.

None of it matters anyway since our program is dead. LONG LIVE BEN HOWLAND!!!

Howland is the Nick Saban of NCAA Hoops, and just as when Saban left a good program(Mich St) for a sleeping giant(LSU), so will Howland's move from good(Pitt) to a slumbering beast(UCLA) come to fruition..An NCAA Title for UCLA Hoops in the next 4 years.

Rail and all Angelinos will be geeked, as USC Football and UCLA Hoops are headed back to dominance!

They'll be dancing in Stratton's real soon!

Damn Devil, that's depressing news, when a few of my podnuhs moved to Tinseltown right after graduation, we used to put away barley-pop and peanuts in that Bruin club & chase skirt, and Sunset Clubs, and 3rd St Promenade..great days in the early nineties.

Rail isn't a Pac10 bitch, he is a So Cal bitch

My school, the Washington Huskies are the kings of modern QBs. In recent years these guys all started:
Chris Chandler
Mark Brunell
Brock Huard
Billy Joe Hobert
Marques Tuisasopo
Cody Pickett will get a shot next year.

That list you have for UCLA must be a joke Rail, other than Troy Aikman most of those guys have sucked in the NFL. Tommy Maddox may need 10 opportunities to finally be a consistent winning QB. Their system is good for QBs, but they never seem to turn into true top notch talent.

Only school I can think of that comes close is Michigan with guys like Brady, Grbac, Harbaugh, etc. playing in recent years. I don't think John Navarre will be tearing up the NFL though...

RAILBIRD- ucla'S football program is pathetic. They are being outrecruited by USC in a ridiculous manner- in fact not one player that UCLA is getting commitments from wasn't even on USC's recruiting list.

Just keep thinking of all these great players which you had in the past as USC continues to romp all over you during the entire decade.

As far as basketball is concerned, I find it interesting that after a 25 point loss to Arizona, the Bruins are talking about future national championships. That will happen the year they have a competitive football program which is a long time into the future.

Hey Trojan boy, stick to what you guys know - football. And leave hoops in the hands of those that know it - us.

Strong D by your boys versus ASU the other night - not that anybody was there to watch of course.
