Had Wazzu and also a ML play on them. Rose Bowl late at night just has no juice and when UCLA does not get off to a fast start, the crowd never gets into the game. Add to that, Wazzu is getting better. Not PAC12 championship better, but they are gritty. Major props to their QB who got battered and just continued to get up and make plays. Program building win for Coogs.

Leach had nothing to lose, playing with house money at this point. They are ahead of schedule IMO. And it was a hunch on the ML. I did think that UCLA laying 10.5 at home to the gritty Coogs was a bit much with all the UCLA injuries and their upcoming schedule.
