U2 New Album Coming Out in Feb, Can't Wait!
Irish rockers U2 have announced the release date of their highly anticipated new album.
No Line On The Horizon, the group's 12th studio album, will be released on March 2 2009.
The album was originally slated for release this year, but the band said it was keen to write more songs before unveiling the follow-up to 2005's Grammy-winning How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb.
No Line On The Horizon was written and recorded in Fez, Morocco - with additional sessions that took place in New York, Dublin and London.
Long-time collaborators Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois produced the new album, with additional production by Steve Lillywhite.
Bono said in a recent interview that the new album "doesn't sound like anything we've done before, and it doesn't really sound like anything that's happening at the moment."
