I guess there weren't enough terrorists already in this world before the "War on Terrorism", which if I remember correctly was started after the US was attacked. Did you guys forget? Oh yell, 911 was out fault, and so was the USS Cole, the attack on Beirut (marines), the first world trade center and oh yes, the terrorist Palestineans.

Even if the US would decide to follow your cowardlike and utterly utupian philosophies, they would still be hated by muslims. There are two reasons:
1. Is that the USA has a very large and prominent Jewish population. Muslims hate Jews and they hate our close relationship with Israel.
2. Muslims also hate Cristians, since the USA is a nation generally made up of Cristians, then muslim terrorists would still conduct their jihad on us.
