I think it could be worth a shot, if for no other reason than I don't see a team who is head and shoulders above anybody else in the country. It might take a little luck. Especially when they play OU. But any BCS Conference team who is undefeated at this point in the season definitley has a shot.
I was out of town most of last week so I didn't get a chance to see your thread, but I really wasn't sure they would get past Texas. Wow, didn't realize it was the same last week as it is now. They definitely control their own desitny so am very surprised that it didn't come down. I might take a shot with them and maybe Florida who is playing as well as anyone in the country right now. Only problem is that I don't see Penn State losing meaning the only way to keep them out is for Alabama and TT to win out. Good luck Tide and Raiders. It will be a laugher if Penn State is in the championship game.
Whats the right price for TT? TT has to get past OkSt/OU (which I have my doubts about but Im just trying to figure out the right price that gives me the proper value for making the bet) then Baylor(given) and the Big12 championship game which should be doable but the extra game still presents that opportunity to lose obviously. Bottom line---must consider TT has to win out(4games), PSU wins out(3 games) with Iowa being the only real obastacle, and Alabama loses to Florida in SEC championship game. So PSU and TT are in the BCS title game. Is +1200 enough? No(but I would like to see the math if someone can figure it). But in true action junky form, if my buddy said he'd give me 12-1 for TT then Id probably give him a few bucks. They have already beat TX and the odds are still at +1200 so I have to be getting closer to true odds. As soon as they beat OK St I believe the odds have to come down so why not take the bet now at +1200 after beating TX rather than waiting to see if they beat OK St only to get +750 or something. I actually like Fla +385 to win the whole thing should have got it last week at +850 or whatever it was. Bottom line--small bet on TT and Fla.
