HOME TEAM IN CAPS
All games include OT unless stated otherwise
ANAHEIM +1.07 over San Jose
The Sharks played their best game of the series on Saturday and still needed OT to keep breathing. Now the assignment gets twice as difficult, as they’ll have to go on the road and beat a Ducks team that has performed better than they have. They’ll also be facing the playoffs hottest goaltender and all I can say again is goodnight to the Sharks. It took awhile (the whole regular season) but the Ducks look like a cup contender and the 1 vs 8 match-up in this case means nothing. The Ducks dominated the Sharks in the last game at the Honda Center and the way played that game and this whole series confirms that the 2007 Cup champions are not just an aberration. They place will be crazy tonight, the Ducks have been the better team in the series and what’s even more nuts is that the Sharks have been a 2-1 favorite at home while the Ducks remain a dog in their own barn. That’s only because of the regular season results but based on the playoffs, the Ducks should be favored here and therefore we’re getting some pretty nice value on this choice. Play: Anaheim +1.07 (Risking 3 units). <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>

Chicago +1.17 over CALGARY
There’s not a lot to like about the Flames tonight. Sure, they’ve won twice at home but after six games the Flames look beaten down physically, they look a lot slower, their goaltending and defense is looking shakier with each passing game and the wear and tear of a long season plus five playoff games has taken a huge toll on them while the Blackhawks look fresher, more energetic, more skilled and more determined. The Blackhawks have to be able to smell the kill here. Anyone who’s watched this series can sense the Flames weakening and I’m sure Joel Quenneville can too. The Hawks will get a chance to show whether or not they’re ready to take the next step because the Flames are ripe to be beat and from what I’ve seen, they’re ready. I honestly trust the worst case tonight is a split in these two games but am very confident in the sweep. Play: Chicago +1.17 (Risking 3 units).
