The last several years have seen a big rise in the popularity of teasers. Any bookmaker who takes a lot of teaser action will tell you he is rooting for teaser busters, more than any other single decision. Last week games like Mia- Houston, Buff-New Eng. TB-Philly, and a few more were big teaser busters. By teaser buster I mean only one side of a game can win. When a game falls in and out (both side cover with teaser points) like the Cleve-Indy game, books get hurt by that game. Other factors are logical teasers such as Tenn plus 8, Giants minus -1.5, Saints -2, and Vikes -2. All of these use the basic principal of bringing a team under or over a key number (3 or 7).
