Coming off a nice win a week ago with the Under in the Rookie All Star Game. Not everyone knew the game is only 40 minutes and not 48 minutes like everything else in the NBA, which is why the posted total was 15 points less than the real All Star Game Sunday and brought in a lot of Over money. Today is the first time I might have two Special Plays on the same day, one college and maybe one NBA.

The college game goes early at Noon EST. Notre Dame is not playing like they did last year, making them especially weak when not at home. Notre Dame is a very strong team at home, the only time I would even think of playing them. Today is an away game at Providence. Notre Dame is just 2-7 SU away, while Providence is 12-3 at home, yet the line is just Providence -2. All we need is basically for the 12-3 team in this situation to win over the 2-7 team in this situation. Well, win by more than one. I don't know why the line is so low. Providence is the better team and you should.............

PLAY PROVIDENCE -2

The early NBA game today goes at 3:30 EST, with Miami coming off a bad game losing at home to Minnesota for their second home loss in a row. It was to be their first game with Jermaine O'Neal since the trade, except O'Neal had to miss a good portion of the game when he bruised his right eye in the third quarter. He should be fine for todays game against a Philly team that should be without Andre Miller, its main point guard. I think this could be exactly what the Heat need to get back on track as they look to avoid losing three home games in a row for the first time in a year. It also helps that Philly is 2-7 SU their last nine games at Miami.

I HAVEN'T MADE MIAMI A POSTED SPECIAL PLAY YET AND WON'T UNTIL I SEE WHAT THE LINE WILL BE. ONCE I SEE THE LINE, I'LL POST HERE TO EITHER PLAY OR SKIP PLAYING MIAMI TODAY.

Miami Heat Play

Does not look good for Providence although they just cut a 16 point deficit to single digits with plenty of time left. As for the Miami Heat, that line is low enough to post them as a play. So, don't give up on Providence yet and .........

PLAY MIAMI HEAT MINUS 3.5.

Good Luck today Sandy. In that UCLA-Wash game the other night, the lines makers couldn't have made it any closer.:toast:

Woody. That was the first thing I thought when I saw the final score. I knew there was a reason I didn't play it. I don't know which is dumbest, my Providence play or anyone who played the Under.

Injury Update

I thought Miller would not play for Philly today but he is now listed as probable. He has a strained right calf so although he is playing, he won't be 100%. I'm staying with my Miami play.

One special night play -- goes at 9 est

Went 1-1 today, losing badly with Providence and winning with the Miami Heat but not until the last minute of the game. Plays are now 23-14 YTD. I did find one Special Play for tonight, which goes in 30 minutes. I had been looking at this game on and off all day, trying to figure out if the line was a trap.

I dosen't seem to play like a trap line because the line is moving the way it should to force more money on the team the public isn't playing. Oklahoma is the better team, even away from home thaN Texas is at home. I just can't see Texas able to rebound enough to get the second chance shots they will need to keep up with the Sooners. Here is your Special Play for tonight........

PLAY OKLAHOMA AT A PICK
