My vote is to get started tomorrow. We can welcome newcomers up until a specified deadline, like maybe the 5th of each month.

Everyone is responsible for their 70 plays and can start each month when entry fee is received up until the agreed upon deadline.

What Poundfoolish says makes sense too. Maybe just for November we give some leeway and future months the deadline is when the contest starts

Waiting around til 10pm for one or two additional picks after 7pm a lot of times is tiring. I know it's a hassle for the west coasters but gotta draw the line somewhere.

Just a FYI...

Note a couple changes for this contest going forward...

We will offer Sides, Money Lines and Totals, however, Money Lines will be limited to odds less than +/-300. I will do my best to delete any such odds when posting the lines.

All pushes will be graded and count as a play throughout the monthly contest.

Deadline to submit plays will be 8:00 PM ET or Scheduled Start Time if earlier than 8pm every day.
Plays DO NOT have to be submitted consecutively. You can spread them out during the day as long as they are before the deadline(s).
Past-posted plays will be graded a push if the play wins. If it's a loss, it's graded a loss.

You must be signed up and PAID IN FULL before making any selections.

Lastly, I will compromise on the deadline issue. For this month, the final day to enter and pay will be Sun, Nov 4th. As for future months, I'm leaning toward a 1st of the month, no questions asked, drop dead deadline.

Not to be a pain but any chance of 8est cutoff for the CBB? If not I understand, there’re quite a few contests running.

Yeah, those rules are subject to change for CBB.

Cap is so there's more for you guys.

I know there were yays and nays to my decision but for the sake of our first NBA month and getting the largest pot possible, I'd be ok with allowing this one last entry if ALL agree. One nay, and will have to disallow.
