A little history here..Bing went to Syracuse..Was a great pro in Detroit..Became wildly successful after his playing days in the car industry and steel related products..

At Syracuse he played with a guy who was his backcourt mate..That guys name is..Jim Boeheim..

Also at Detroit he played with a great guard out of Providence by the name of Jimmy Walker..

Jimmy Walkers son..Jalen Rose..

Sorry I didn't answer your question in 25 seconds but I was watching the Monday Night Football game. I know Ron Rothstein was an assistant under Chuck Daly, and I am pretty sure he was in charge of the defense. Miami's first-round pick in its first year was Rony Seikaly from Syracuse.

Who did Miami get that year in the dispersal draft????
