Im thinking about adding another hard drive to my PC. I want both my current hard drive and the new hard drive to be on windows XP and when I start my PC I wanted to ask me which drive to boot from.

Has anyone tried having two hard drives, both on windows XP? Any problems?

Well, I want to use one drive just for the internet and sportsbetting. Nothing else, no ms word, excel, access, outlook, nothing else....and I want another drive for everything else and the internet. I have to install the operating system on both, right?

I have never tried this type of configuration so I can't say for sure. However, my guess is that yes you would need to install an OS on each hd.

No, you only need one copy of your OS. Just put your browser or another copy (or download) of your browser on the drive you will use for Internet.

I think it's possible that two copies of the OS may cause conflicts.

Another thought is that under XP you should be able to create a separate logon identity and allow only that identity to access your second drive.
