Two Browns arrested, reportedly with gun, pills on Christmas morning

Cleveland Browns outside linebacker Armonty Bryant and practice squad player D'Ante Saunders were arrested just after 2 a.m. on Christmas morning, first reported by Scott Taylor, an investigative reporter in Cleveland TV station WOIO.


Saunders, who was driving, was pulled over for speeding and arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of drugs or alcohol, but it was not immediately clear from the report why Bryant was arrested. During the stop, a gun and the prescription drug Adderall -- commonly used to treat ADHD and/or narcolepsy -- were discovered in the vehicle.

Bryant will not be traveling with the team to Kansas City.
