"John Danks (11-9, 3.47 ERA) -- starting on three days' rest -- is one of the few members of the White Sox who've had a tough time at home against Minnesota. He is 1-2 with a 7.45 ERA in four starts versus the Twins at Chicago"

"Blackburn (11-10, 4.14 ERA) is 0-2 with a 7.20 ERA in three career road starts versus the White Sox"

Thoughts on the over.

Yea I was wondering the same thing. Is there anyone in Chicago around US Cellular field right now? I just saw on weather.com that the the wind is blowing straight out to Center Field at a 16 mph. Can anyone confirm this?

Historically in these "all or nothing games," offense is hard to come by.

As I mentioned in another thread, Danks is pitching on three days rest, but he only threw 80 pitches in his last outing leaving after four innings.

The over/under is 9 because both of these teams will be throwing all the tricks they have into this one game. If Blackburn doesn't have it, I would be surprised if Liriano or Slowey weren't brought into the game. If Danks doesn't have it, Buehrle or Vasquez will be getting the call.

What a tough game to cap..

No chance he pitches tonight on 1 day rest.

The point being that neither Guillen nor Gardenhire are going to hold anything back in this game.

Nice work, powerz.

Holding off on a side or a total play until the line-ups are posted, but Cuddyer, Morneau and Mauer' success against Danks caught my eye.

Of course, in this case it hardly means anything considering we're talking about such a small sample size of at-bats, but it helps nonetheless.

It's supposed to be nice this weekend, but this cold/windy/overcast midwest weather is just a heads up letting us know that winter is right around the corner. Ugh.

I really like the under play here. Games that mean a lot have a tendency to go under. Both bullpens are rested so if the the starters get in trouble they may be pulled early.

Linebrink, Thornton and Dotel all pitched yesterday for the White Sox.

Vasquez, Buehrle, Floyd and Danks have all gone on three days rest the last four games (including tonights).

I wouldn't say the White Sox pitching staff is well rested.

Also, remember last years 1-game playoff?
