TV series "Deadwood"

Has anyone seen this Old West television series "Deadwood" on HBO? The overwhelming use of profanity on this program had me laughing uncontrollably. Every other word was profanity, it seemed. The words "cock-sucker" came up everytime someone referred to another character. It was hysterical. They actually set a record for saying "cock-sucker" the most times in a movie.

As a drama goes, I've seen better film on teeth...but this was funny.

A great little western gambling town.

They have some very good 100+% slots and video poker there.........or at least they used to.

Someone said they were not sure the word F*CK was even used at all in everyday language back in those days.

If that is true, there is a very serious historical error in all of those scripts.

They had quite a few of the banking slots in 25 cents and $1 machines as well as quarter dueces and some very good BJ Blitz.

Was able to make a few bucks hopping around.

Great and wonderful scenery around the area.......Mr Rushmore is only a few miles away.

I am fairly familar with the area as we took many summer fishing and camping trips there when I was a toddler.

Great trout fishing if your into that.

Overall, I would highly recommend a visit to Mt. Rushmore and Deadwood at least once in your lifetime.

Man I heard the same thing about this show,lol..I heard it was a good show to watch , haven`t caught it yet...Funny how we assume people back than didn`t curse as much , must be because we only saw them on black and white Westerns where there was no cursing, the son of a bitches probably said everying fvcking dirty word *&%&^&*#$#_) LOL..

Is this show worth watching?

same with Sopranos I hate having to wait a week for one hour, its probably better to wait til the season ends and record them watch them all in a day or so...

I knew those cock-suckers that wrote the script breached the historical integrity of that cock-sucking era. If there's anything that makes my cock-sucking blood boil, it's cock-sucking historical inaccuracies.

I read an article on the real Deadwood in those days. With no law they averaged a murder and a half per day. Apparently the foul language is an accurate accounting as well. The crooked salooon keeper averaged 4 dimes per nite(huge scratch back then), with most of it coming by criminal means.
